How to recieve online payments on Naijastyles

We are excited to announce that we have just successfully integrated
online payment into Naijastyles! Now shoppers can conveniently pay for
products from any merchant using their Interswitch ATM cards.

The payment engine utilized is Netnaira (www.netnaira.com) 
. Netnaira is an interswitch approved micropayment processor. We chose
this payment engine because they are secure,  reliable and enable us to
automatically transfer funds into our merchant’s accounts. So once a shopper makes payment for your products, we automatically transfer your
funds into your Netnaira account. You can then easily withdraw these
funds into your bank account. To following diagram illustrates how
shopping works on this site:





For existing merchants please follow the following steps in order to start receiving online payments:



  • Visit www.netnaira.com
    and sign up for a free PERSONAL ACCOUNT. Please note that you only need
    a Netnaira Personal Account  and not a Netnaira Merchant Account or
    Netnaira Seller Account. Once you have signed up, you shall be
    automatically assigned an Account Number.

  • Log on to Naijastyles.com and sign in with your Naijastyles merchant
    account. Click the ‘Control Panel’ link at the top. Once you are in the
    control panel, click Settings->Profile Settings (alternatively, just
    follow click this link: http://www.naijastyles.com/mcpanel/settings/index).

  • The Account Number Tab will open, enter your new Netnaira Personal account number and then click save.

  • Finally, you need to enable online payments for all your existing
    products. To do so, just navigate to the product (either in the control
    panel or the main website product gallery) and click ‘Edit’, For the
    ‘Accept Payments’ option, select ‘Yes’ and click Save. Please note that
    we charge a 5% + N5 commission for every product sold so you might want
    to edit your prices to accommodate this fee. Also, please not that due
    to restrictions placed by our payment processor, you cannot recieve
    orders for products that cost more than N40,000.

    Also, please dont forget to edit your shipping costs. This controls how much you will charge for shipping to the different states of Nigeria. The cost you specify is multiplied by the weight of the particular product (default is 1kg) and added to its price. This computation is made when a user specifies his resident state during the shopping checkout process. To edit your shipping costs, go to http://www.naijastyles.com/mcpanel/settings/shippingcosts
